Call My Agent

NOW Productions have completed filming the first season of the Czech-Slovak adaptation of the successful French series Call My Agent. The eight-part series for VOD platforms prima+ and JOJ play for Prima and TV JOJ is produced by NOW Productions under the title Vytoč mého agenta.

The series Call My Agent collected prestigious awards around the world and was a huge hit both in France and internationally. The series, whose original French title is Dix Pour Cent, is currently being adapted in twenty countries around the world.

The Czech-Slovak adaptation Vytoč my agent is based on the same foundations as the French original: top-notch directing, a brilliant cast and a perfect script. The best, but also the busiest, Czech and Slovak actors of today feature in the series.

The story is set in a talent agency and follows a team of agents who must satisfy the demanding needs of their stars, the constant struggle with competition and their own complicated personal relationships. The series offers absurd and comical situations, as well as touching moments and real human drama.

Each episode has its own self-contained story with a film star playing themselves and our agents having to solve the star’s specific problem. The concept gives the viewer the opportunity to experience the stars not only in extremely comic situations, but as unique, fragile and often very contradictory human beings.

The main roles of the agents are played by Kryštof Hádek, Tomáš Maštalír, Martha Issová and Zuzana Kronerová.

Stars who play themselves include Klára Issová, Iva Janžurová, Sabina Remundová, Zlata Adamovská, Taťjana Medvecká, Táňa Pauhofová, Jiří Langmajer, Gabriela Marcinková, Stanislav Majer, Juraj Loj, Bolek Polívka and Michal Dlouhý.

The eight-part series Vytoč mého agenta is directed by Michal Blašek and Jakub Machala, creative dramaturg Alice Nellis, and producer for NOW Productions is Gordon Lovitt.
